Our Mission . . .

The Buffalo Christian Center's mission is to facilitate the proclamation and demonstration of the gospel and the training of disciples of Jesus Christ, by serving the church and reaching the city for Christ.

Matt. 28:18-20 Jesus came and told his disciples, I have been given complete authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end  of the age."

Vision . . .

Buffalo Christian Center will be a catalyst for holistically restoring inner city & suburban communities. The BCC seeks to model unity in the Kingdom of God, bringing together the greater Body of Christ across racial, class and other obstacles. Indigenous leadership will be fully engaged in this process of transformation. Every area of the BCC will be fully utilized with people learning about Christ and growing in their faith.

Three new initiatives that the Buffalo Christian Center has developed with inner city pastors and ministries are outlined below:

Strengthening Urban Churches
Partnering city churches will use the BCC as an "extension" of their facility to reach out, strengthen and grow their church and ministry. Partnering suburban churches will subsidize this ministry and are invited to lend a hand in strengthening the churches

Short Term Mission Trips
Teen mission groups are invited to spend the week serving and learning at the BCC. Helping with the Summer Day Camp, service work, fun and training in Christian Community Development will take place.

Summer Day Camp
Children from the city will participate in education, Bible studies, meals, fun and field trips. Partnering churches and ministries will help reach out, participate and follow up on the children and families involved
