ministry.
Partnering suburban churches will subsidize this ministry and are
invited to lend a hand in strengthening the churches |

Serving the Church and reaching the City for Christ
The
Center Story . . .
The building known as the Buffalo Christian Center was originally
built as an exclusive men's club in the 1920's. The club thrived
during Prohibition, but membership declined considerably after the
ban on alcohol was revoked. The building was eventually sold.
In 1958, Rev. Alan Forbes and the Youthtime Evangelism
Fellowship "redeemed" the building, purchasing it for $100,000. Over
the years, the ministry of the Center has impacted thousands for
Christ.
Forbes Theatre
The Center's Forbes Theatre, located in Buffalo's growing Theatre
District, offers theatre with a Message. The Forbes Theatre is open
to the community.
All are invited to experience plays, musicals, and concerts
with moral value and excellence. Recently remodeled, the 800 seat
Forbes Theatre features a beautiful ornate ceiling. The theatre is
named after Center founder, Alan Forbes. |
